I like to prank the deli staff as they always get creeped out by the raw meat. EEEEwww How can you stand the smell? Yuck....I couldn't cut that..
The first shop I worked in was in a rural area. The 4H kids take the animals to the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) to show them and then Auction their animals. The owner of the store is famous for going to the auction and buying up all the pigs, beef, and lambs. They go to the processing plant to be butchered and certified. When I get the beef they leave a portion of the shoulder intact with the Tag ear.
I cut the ear(nice black and white fuzzy one) off the neck and cryovaced it and then...hee hee......I put it in the deli cooler up front of the store and waited......
I heard that scream while I was in my cooler! Then I was called to the deli to pick up my furry friend.
They all laughed later but the girl that found it was a tad squeamish :)
