Chef John Folseis"Calling all butchers!!!Just want to remind everyone that Tank Jackson and I (Folse) are hosting our "First Annual, Festival des Bouchers" or festival of the butchers boucherie at White Oak Plantation on Saturday February 13th beginning at 6:30 am. All traditional boucherie items will be prepared including red and white boudin, hogs head cheese, andouille and fresh pork sausage, cracklin, pork stew, and the old butchers lunch special cooked by the Folse brothers, our famous smoked coon and andouille gumbo.
