The Family Table

What is that round or square or oval piece of furniture in the middle of your kitchen or dining room? You know it; our lives revolve around it. We eat at it, we socialize too, games are played on it and mom occasionally does her sewing there. Where homework is done, and budget balancing acts are accomplished, where lighted candles on birthdays reflect smiling faces and splashes from a baby's bassinette causes us to fret. Where politics are discussed and children receive "kitchen table wisdom". Yes, this object has the strength to bind families together with laughter and prayer, and sometimes tears are shed for someone dear to us. You know it: "The Family Table". It may be old or new, either made of wood or metal, but it is sturdy and strong as it represents our traditions and our family values.

May your time at Thanksgiving deepen your value of friends, family and our Meat Cutter Community. God bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving.

RE: The Family Table

We have a customer in Toronto who runs a pretty nice meat shop. Off to the side they have an old 50's family table there and that's where you do business. Cool people
