A&P to sell 95 stores for $370M, save 10,000 jobs

A US Bankruptcy Court judge has approved the sale of 95 Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. stores for $370 million, with 71 units going to Acme Markets and 24 stores to the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. Under the deal, more than 10,750 jobs will be preserved. Bloomberg (9/21)
