I don't like counters where they have junk on the floor under it where my feet need to go

On what would have been a day off, I worked at this store last week, for one day only. I've worked there 8 times now. I really dislike when grocery dept puts their crap on the floor under our counters. I need to put my feet there. It makes it harder to work the counter. Agree?

That s wrong for a lot of reasons. Do those bags ever get punctured? Does the charcoal get on the floor? There looks like enough room for a small stand to put it on in the middle of the floor.

Now wait a minute  Burgermeister. I know you may have a problem with this display but look at it from the store managers point of view. He believes that when shoppers come to the meat case they will buy a steak and think "grilling". Then the customer will  bend-over and drop to one knee and drag the large bag of dirty charcoal out from under the case a place it on top of her fresh produce, deli meats, and any fresh meat she just bought. Actually it is a very ingenious idea and that store manager will probably get promoted to a field supervisor or possibly a meat buyer. However, he did miss something. He should have installed a small sink near the display so the customers can wash their dirty black hands. lOL>LOL>

I have to quote a what a very smart man said, his name was Forrest Gump! "STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES"

There's more than one thing I dislike about this case. I don't like those big signs. They fall over all the time and are in the way. I don't like the small signs either. See the ones at the bottom of the case? They fall on the floor all day long. See the one in the left side of the picture 3rd shelf from the bottom? It's at an empty area. That's STUPID!! They were out of that item. There's no need for an empty area with a sign saying what were out of. Get rid of the sign and double up on what's next to it. The signs for things we're out of make people ring the bell and ask for them. That wastes time. Without the sign, they'd never know they wanted it, and instead will buy something else. Safeway now has little signs for every meat item. That's a bad idea. You don't need a sign when the meat is in a clear wrapper. That's enough of a sign, the product with a descriptive tag. The little signs and the empty sections are beyond stupid. It kind of contradicts the reason for the charcoal below. I forget what the other item on the floor was, just beyond the charcoal. I've seen so much crap in those areas. Wine, bread crumb stuffing (in November), etc.
