Leon, I made sure I wore a red shirt to give the guys & gals a nice big target to throw darts at it. LOL> Especially when I bring up controversial subjects.
Leon, I am humbled by the trust you put in me especially when you found out that I use to take those nice light-brown beef livers and sell them for calves liver. LOL>LOL>
All kidding aside I am very proud to be associated with the M.C.C. and I thank anybody who put a word in for me. The meat industry treated me good it has helped me to support my families for over 40 years. Personally, I always said that next to working in the mines a meat cuttes job is just as difficult and demanding. However, that doesn’t mean that the during my personal climb in the business I didn't question the value of all my hard work. I did lose some inspiration along the way. Keeping up the faith when we are in the middle of trying times isn’t easy. Zig Ziglar one of the greatest public motivational speakers said it best when he said: “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”
There is another great man by the name of Newt Gingrich who talked about hard work; He said it was all about perseverance. "Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.”
I don't always agree with you, but I really enjoy reading your messages and appreciate the time you give to the Meat Cutter's Club. You are definitely a gold mine of knowledge. I appreciate you taking the first representive position. I am sure you have so many connections that could benefit our organization.
