Do you work for a employee-owned companies

I been reading a lot about employee-owned companies like these below, do any of you work for one and how do you like working there.

Grocers that operate as employee-owned companies, such as Hy-Vee, WinCo Foods, Coborn's, Budwey's Supermarket and Publix Super Markets, have reported better profits, expansion, productivity and customer service. Hy-Vee grew from just 37 stores and 1,200 employees in 1960 to 235 stores and 60,000 workers since switching to a Employee Stock Ownership Plan, while Publix, now ranked as the second-best grocer in the U.S. by Consumer Reports, launched in 1930 as an employee-owned retailer and it now operates 1,098 locations in six states.
