Id rather see this sort of demo at Wholefoods than demos for eating raw foods. Would it even work in a supermarket. when I was interviewed for wholefoods with no experience and no idea what the workplace was like when the manager asked me how could i make him money I said to do this sort of thing with a guest rare breed like a Tamworth and get people to order certain cuts before the event Put up a huge chalkboard with the cuts and mark them off when sold. Charge more of course to appeal to the foodies.
I also said make holiday themed sausages like ones with cranberries them at xmas and international ones like french themed ones for the french and sausagerolls for the UK customers basically I was making it up, when he followed it up by can i make sausages I had to say err No but its a good idea.
irishdude, I always tried to keep some kind of meat demo going in my markets, good customer draw, mostly good sales off what ever product. Just get your companies to work with you on this
