Hiring 100 butchers

To start IMMEDIETELY or in Jan 2015

Standard work week of 40 hours with one to two days off

Overtime paid

Two year agreement

Life insurance within 3mos for up to $25,000

Medical and Dental coverage after 6mos of employment

Ten (10) days of paid vacation after a year

Employee Assistance Program (counseling and advisory services)

WCB (long and short term disability)

 

Qualifications:

Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday’s as required.

Location: Alberta, CANADA

Experience: THREE YEARS

 

Languages: ENGLISH – MUST SHOW IELTS TEST RESULTS IN GENERAL 4 AND 5 BAND IN ALL

 

Work Setting: Meat processing plant.      

 

Successful applicants will work on a fast moving production line trimming/deboning beef cuts using knives.

Ability to work with others, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to learn.

THE EMPLOYEE would be working in a slaughter and meat packing establishment. 

They would be performing specific and precise functions on the production floor. 

Work may include specific slaughtering tasks such as hide removal and eviscerating carcasses.  Duties may also include removing bone from meat and cutting it to particular specifications.  All duties must be performed in a safe manner and protective equipment specific to the job being performed must be worn.

Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods

I have four year experience in supervising in production of large quanties of meat both for retail and whole sale produce.if given chance i can manage to work effectively.

If you are not first language English, then you need test results from IELTS of a 4 or higher.

It's either in High River or Brooks, only two plants that big in Alberta,
