Value added products

Hi all and greetings from ireland

a little background on my business , a family run business from our farm to the customers table for the over 50 years

truth be told 18 months ago it looked like we would have to close the door

what changed u might ask,,, since then we worked on our business did a revamp but the main cause o the turn around was value added products, its a huge game changer in our opinion these days!!

we also won craft butcher of the year in ireland this year !

I was just wondering if you guys have any ideas for other value added products that may appeal to ireland !!!

I think that is interested and would like to hear more. Before I can express my ideas I need to knowwhat you consider value added products to be. I am curious can you give me some examples of what your value added products are?

maybe make your own sausages add feta and cheese rather than the usual irish sausage if you make your own lots dont they just buy them in and burgers meatballs etc all bought

fdarn from what i see butchers here dont even bread chicken breasts as a seller its ready breaded out of a box. I laughed when manager cut up a breast of chicken oiled it threw some fresh breadcrumbs on it and called them goujons to put in oven ready trays when he ran out of stuff i thought what a joke.4

EWSBUTCHERS,

What cut of beef do you use for the beef truffle? It kind of sounds like Chicken Cordon Bleu we do here. Do you stuff a tenderloin or something? It sounds good.

I like that. it kind of looks like those little bagel bit pizzas, but I bet it tastes a lot better. I might try that for my own meal sometime soon.
