A 62-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in a Kroger restroom Monday, and authorities are still searching for the suspect.

Champak Rana, of West Chester, went to the Kroger at 7300 Yankee Road in Liberty Township Monday night to pick up his wife, according to a news release from the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

Rana went to the bathroom, where he told police a man put a gun to the back of his head and demanded his money.

Rana gave the man his wallet and the suspect ran out of the store, the release states.

The suspect was reportedly wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, white gym shoes and a baseball hat. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about this incident can contact the Butler County Investigations Division at 513-785-1300
