PETE'S IGA, LINCOLN, NEBRASKA, still looks a lot like it did in the 1970's but a Real Estate management company uses it as an office now. The man that deliver meat there said, " I don't know how I managed it but I remember putting ten carcasses (40 quarters) in that small cooler during a big beef promotion they had advertised."
I love small stores and I go out of my way to shop there. It doesn't matter if it's for food or hardware or any other supplies. I owned a small store for 25 years.
