Mobile Markdown Manager At Case Markdown Minimize throwaways, maximize profits.
Want to sell slow-moving date-sensitive product prior to having to throw it away? Now you can with ADC’s P-Cubed Mobile Markdown Manager. The P-Cubed Mobile Markdown Manager allows store associates to scan and print markdown labels at the display case or on the shelf, with hand-held scanners and portable printers, such as Motorola and Zebra.
The P-Cubed Mobile Markdown Manager eliminates labor-intensive and time-consuming steps, while greatly reducing your throwaway shrink. You no longer have to pull stock off the shelves, take it into the backroom and reweigh and/or wrap each item, as it can be re-labeled at the shelf.
I know some Meat God some where will see this as a reason to cut a few more hours out of a market, Your opinion??
What a joke Leon. We never reweighed any mark downs. Put a manager's special sticker on it and price it or pull it and grind it. But I am sure that some corporate big shot will see this as the next way to save the company money. Glad I'm old school. Have a great day my friend.
We have been using this for about 2 or 3 years. Saves time and you can track what you are reducing or throwing away. You can then look at the most reduced or thrown away items and adjust cutting lists to reduce shrink. It is a great tool.
Ive been using it for over 20 years only 6 years with the RF gun the rest hand written we don't mark down meat but still need to keep track of beef to grinds. Only allowed $700 per week which is tough at low volume locations with the amount of case space I have. I do 85,000 a week now my last location did 170,000 with 60 foot of less case space, a lot easier.
Seems far superior to the $1, $2, $5 coupons we would tape to packages we wanted to move. That worked but it did not give us any tracking info on what we were over-producing.
