National Butchers' Week, 24-30 March, organised by trade magazine Meat Trades Journal. It's a week long celebration of the craft skills and services provided by the high street butcher. Butchers are experts in meat and we'll be encouraging consumers to get back to the butcher and discover the joys of meat.
Thousands of butchers throughout the country will also be holding special events throughout the Week, ranging from taster sessions aimed at enticing young people to sausage making demonstrations, which shoppers can take part in by dropping in at their local butcher.
