Safeway considers sale to Jewel-Osco parent Safeway, the nation's second-largest grocery chain, said Wednesday that it is considering a sale of the company. right we all from dominicks is saying why couldnt they do that for us !! but come to think of it jewel is owned by a holding company 11 so question is would we have been better off maybe or maybe not only time will tell
