i think we may see more and more of this over here- take a populated area, and run it as a co-op, rent space for respective displays/products
the bark eating tree-huggers would love these places- but for most of our customers up here-that seem to buy on price...
i dont know if this would work up here...
the "locally raised/grown" movement could do well with this concept- because their customers will buy a 1.39 tomato
like a co-op farmers market
just not enough of that crowd up this way, price is still the strongest driver of sales
