They work with one of the big chains in Chattanooga, Tn
Help me out here Leon. When I was in the trade from 1968 to 1996 we had a "meat dept mgr" or "Chief Journeyman" and a "2nd Man", or "First Journeyman".
Is that the same as "Market Manager" and "Cutting room Manager"?
Jim, you know old habits are hard to change lol way down here in the south a 2nd Man was called a cutting room manager, he was over all the cutting and anything that went on in it, he had to answer to the market manager. I think now a days they call them the " lead cutter "
Heck when I was at Giant we called them "Persons" 1st person was the Meat Dept. Manager and 2nd Person was his Assistant Manager. Is that cheesy or what?
