The below pictures are from Combi Supermarket in Wilhelmshaven Germany. I loved the set up because it was a shared continuous counter with the Meat Dept and Deli separated by a glass section. It was very clean and uncluttered. The cutting technique was very similar to ours and they rolled up some of their sausage and skewered it down the center...think lollipop style...lol i was not permitted to take any pics of the back.
I was only there for 4 short days but absolutely would love to go back. My German is not very advanced i can read it better than i can speak it so the conversation was very limited. I liked their innovation with the bacon skewers wrapped around the bratwursts...everything is better with bacon.
