Meat racks packed out

I don't see racks full like that much anymore. What kind of prices are on that stuff? These days every store I work in its pretty much Cut only what you know you are going to need and it is never this much. In fact the last 2 companies I worked for sold off half of their racks because they weren't being used anymore. I find it enlightening to know that not all stores have taken that route.

There's a stop and shop near me that I pop into from time to time to see what they're up to. They do about 120,000 a week in meat. But even they have maybe 8-10 dollies full TOPS lol

I used to work in a market that pulled $135,000 a week and I don't think we even had half the racks of this market. Heck I wish that I had a cooler that big.

Demoula's is very good market. The local nickname for them is 'The Bucket'.

They are rated the #1 market in the USA. Although, if you went into one, you would not know it.

They do not depend on loss-leaders but strictly on volume of sales.

They do a TON of business and pay their workers directly out of the store cash/check office.

The owner is a self-made billionaire whose target market is large lower-middle income and poor families.
