Great looking counter. Everything looks nice. And it's next to a chocolate shop too!

I am impressed with your shop and I really like the name too.  I don't know why but I think the uniforms are cool too.  I have a shirt and hat with my stores name on it too, but yours looks better.

Thanks every one for saying hi !!!
And the kind words about our little shop... but busy shop
the chocolate shop next door can be a trap - if you are feeling a little tired (around 3 pm) a sugar fix can get outta hand :)
Yes - we like our uniforms they modern, can be washed and dried over night no problems and the base ball caps we have to wear
We are under the regulator "Prime Safe" and they make us have our hair covered: hats, hair nets etc
it is a great idea to keep hair out of the meat - but we (the state of Victoria) is the only state in Australia that enforces that rule.

cheers every one

Bindy & Kevin

In the first picture, at the top on the blackboard, I see the words "sharpen knives". Part of it may be cut off. Maybe it says "we sharpen knives"? Do you sharpen knives for customers? I don't like that idea. It's hard enough to sharpen my own. I do it at home on my own time. How much do you charge? What method do you use? Free hand? Machine? At a store that I left 10 years ago, we had sharpen knives for free. Up to 3 per day per person. They had a Tru Hone machine in every store. A decent machine, I guess, but not maintained properly and the 4 round stores got out of round. Spun lopsided like eggs. It didn't do a good job and I was always embarrassed to give customers their knives. Well, it was free and you get what you pay for, right?

I don't like wearing a hat either, but it's mandatory at 99% of the places out here in Northern California. Even if you're bald headed, you still have to wear a hat.
