Jacaranda Butchery is a family owned butchery that has been in business since 1958. It is owned and managed by husband and wife team Iwan and Anodi Gerber and their well trained staff.
Jacaranda Butchery is well known for their Delicious Boerewors and Top Quality Meat. They specialise in fresh meat and meat products and serve both the general public, restaurants, the catering trade and Hotels. They do daily deliveries in Port Elizabeth.

Boereworsis a type of sausage, popular in South African cuisine. The name comes from the Afrikaans words boer ("farmer") and wors ("sausage"), and ispronounced [ˈbuːrəvors], with atrilled/r/. Boerewors is based on an older traditional Dutch sausage called the verse worst, though it differs somewhat in its ingredients.Boerewors is made from coarsely minced beef (sometimes combined with minced pork, lamb, or both) and spices (usually toasted coriander seed, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and allspice).
We always mature out steaks in the dry method and our boerewors, mince, diced beef and all other products are freshly made on the premises everyday.
