I cut barehanded, cant stand the feel of gloves on me...plus I usually end up cutting the tips off the gloves anyway so I figure why bother wearing them at all...only time I wear gloves is making sausage or stuffing

I will agree a glove makes holding the knife a lot more prone to slippage, and besides I like the way chain-gloves tear the hell out of seafood and tenderloins.
