"Beef" canadian bacon?

This is new to me, seems the story goes like this... Sometime ago Armour foods in Chicago used to make this type of canadian bacon, so I am told from a elderly Jewish customer. He claims that he called Conagra foods and was told this was a canadian made and sold there exclusively. What do ya think? anyone...

there is also a product called Back Bacon. Same as above but no cornmeal coating. Just pork loin brined and smoked and sliced thin. Good product for people looking for a low fat bacon

We carry a beef bacon made from the plate, much like pork belly.

I have actually tried a smoked beef plate before ( sliced thin and fried ) about 18 years ago. It was done locally by the hutterites and haven't seen it since.
It's not something you see much of usually up here.

Now I'm craving beef bacon.
