NEED SOME HELP & ADVICE

Hi all I need some real help and advice, last year I was over in the USA visiting friends and family and started looking in moving looking into move over permanently having been told that if I did being a butcher I would have no problems getting work for a firm or private work for hunters and local farmers. So we moved over earlier this year only to find that the people wanting me to do the private work for them now dont, and that the jobs in this part of Pa are so few that I am having to go 3 plus hours to interviews. Then the kickers have started I drive to the interview sit down and this guy starts talking to me he has just been laid off from another firm ok so we are both interviewing for the same job thats fine; ONLY WAIT ONE SECOND HIS WIFE WORKS FOR THIS FIRM SO WHO GOT THE JOB!!!! (he even told her ''I start Saturday'' before we did a cutting test so I waste gas for what?? Some of the interviews have gone great the your through to the second interview and cutting test well done we will call you to set up a date. Still waiting to hear after 2 weeks what the ????? Just what to know if I should keep going and try to get work in the industry I love? Run the risk and try to get a bank loan and start up on my own (who should I talk to about permits etc?) ? Or just say screw it I cant find butchery work in the UK or now in the USA and try to find some other field of work?? I just want advice I am stuck to Pa and am over 3hours from Pittsburgh and Philly and at the moment unless the company is willing to help not that able to relocate....

Starting to think I have made a bad bad call just after advice thanks all.

Roy,
I am up in western NY and I can talk about places around here not close to PA. I currently am looking in NYC and Boston, so I know how hard it is. have you looked at wegmans they offer healthcare and there a top employer with 90+ stores in the north east. good luck take care and private message me if you need more info

If you are in PA...how far from the DC area are you??

Harris Teeter needs cutters in DC and pays nicely

George Gauldin in the Northern Region Office in Fairfax Virginia is who you want to talk to

Tell Him Joe Parajecki who used to work at store 373 told you to reach out to him

It would be nice to have a retail setup doing at least a couple of sides of beef on the rail per week.
