For over a year now there have been rumblings of a new reality show in the works for Pat LaFrieda the famous New York butcher and meat purveyor, and now the news is confirmed. 'MeatMen', a show that follows LaFrieda, his father Pat Sr., and cousin and marketing man Mark Pastore in their daily work butchering meat and dealing with chef clients, will debut on The Food Network on April 9. It's a production of Zero Point Zero, the people behind Anthony Bourdain's stable of shows, a long in the works iPad app from Team Momofuku, and a host of other projects.
Word on the street was the show was first going to go to the History Channel, the home of breakout hit 'Pawn Stars,' but eventually ended up in the hands of the food conglomerate. Tune in on April 9.
