the Buffalo Wing Lady


I remember a time when chicken wings didn't sell well, when I started they sold for $.09 lb, about 1969 you couldn't keep enough, wonder if this lady had something to do with it LOL

IN 1964 Theresa stumbled onto an idea, to fry chicken wings and serve them.

Like many famous recipes that started from a family recipe the origins are cloudy.

Yes- wise lady-back in the day, I think most chicken parts were cooked in crisco
