how many of you have got something differ in a box than what is suppose to be in it. today we had a case of shoulder clods with short loins in it. there has been times that ground beef tubes were ground chuck or 90/10
It seems to happen a couple times a year to us. Our latest was short ribs in a box marked teres major. I always let my supplier know, does not matter if the error is in their favor or mine. My customers let me know when something is mismarked, good or bad and I feel it comes back to me when I let my suppliers know too. That way when I complain about trim specs not being met I feel the listen to me more.

I've gotten goosenecks in a round box before. Lifter meat in clod boxes and one time I pig heads in a pork butt box....that was a while ago when we got butts wrapped in wax paper....
oho,many times! the last one was a whole carton with beef fillet,premium quality, when supposed to received a carton with knuckles! was a big surprise from a preferred supplier, who put me and my team many times in difficulty,so,I considered this one like an apologize for the too many past wrong situations!
