LOL. That's a good one. I've seen a lot of similar notes. How do you wrap 25 lbs in 2 lb packages? 25 lbs of what? At least I understand the double wrap part. My guess it that it's a certain kind of ground meat that's usually a little higher than $2.59. Ground turkey? pork?, sausage? 80/20 ground beef? Boneles pork ribs? The customer is getting a break on the price, authorized by the person who wrote the note.
exactly....it turned out to be ground chuck...boss gave him a better deal....i gave him 26 lbs so i could break it down evenly in 2 lb packs. but it cracked me up. notice no phone number. found out the guy wants to pick it up at 7 in the morning..good thing i could find the person who wrote it and asked them what it was. just thought i would share it with everyone.
welll at my store our V.P of Dominicks lived right behind my store so his wife would call up when we have round steak on sale and want them to grind twice and at 15 - 20 lbs of it lol
Reminds me of a customer we used to have, he would never call it Ground Beef. It was always 2.15, he had a fit when I raised it to 2.30! Then he would say give me a pound of 2.15 thats now 2.30 you guys are rippin me off. He has since moved to Georgia, hope you boys down there have good luck with him! He complained a lot, but he was loyal
