After seeing one of our members got there start working for family here I thought I would share the link. If your in Ohio and going North this is an awesome place to visit. Every kind of way to cut meat, smoke it, stuff it etc is on display at lots of meat shoppes all under one roof. Really incredible and thats not all, produce, bakers and many food tradesmen! I need to make a trip back up there its one of my favorite places to go.
I have 8 customers there and visit them once a week.
I have been going there since 1973 and know most of the 100 inside stand owners.
You or any of our members can just let me know when you are comming up and I will meet you there and give you the complete tour including the basement where every stand has their own cooler space and all the meat is cut. It's a city in itself.
My dad worked there as a kid in the 1920's selling his dad's sausage it was open until 10:00 pm because there were only ice boxes in the homes and people shoped everyday for perishables.
2012 is the 100th year anniversary and all kinds of cool stuff is going to be going on every weekend.
