Definatley not calling a chuck eye a delmonico in my neck of the woods. Although we had a nice enough chuck roll go thru the line that wrapper wrapped them ribeyes. LOL The other cutter went looking for them to buy them for himself and they were like 16.00 bucks. I guess hes trying to make us money. Gotta love the rookies.
The "Delmonico Steak" (boneless ribeye) is perhaps the best, rarest and most desirable steak on the market. It originated around 1830 as the house cut at Delmonico's Restaurant in New York City, and is now seen on menus in restaurants and supermarkets across the nation.
