Excellent Sat! Started out slow then lots of steaks belive it or not, still got grills going in our area despite the cooler temps. Roasts on sale but not a hot price.
It's a smaller independant store but has a good client base. I will miss my Regular customers when I leave. My last shift is Monday. I'm moving to Alberta. I've been IGA for just over 4 years now
Were are you going? Another IGA? Thats awesome your a manager! Im still waiting for an opening to come up, In my company it could be a long wait, some days though Im glad to not be the manager it can be pretty stressful alot on your shoulders.
well actually I am leaving my BF of 5 years.Sad but true. Suffice it to say I need to move on. there are many jobs in Alberta but I will miss the one I'm leaving as I feel like I'm leaving family behind. But things will be better for me. I have many contacts so I knowI will be able to pick up another job. If things don't work out my IGA owner is willing to hire me back :) I so feel the love .
I am sure if you want a managers Job you will work towads it and do a Great job :)
Terrible. Meat case won't stay at temp. Running a steady 45 on top 50-55 on bottom. Out of ideas, drug the darn thing myself to another location. Turned off the air in the building(Helped a little), messed with a bunch of knobs. Nothing. Taped the front up using butcher's paper (that stuff comes in handy), and it went down to 30-35 top and bottom. Something is disrupting airflow, and I'm out of ideas.
pretty quiet, i worked the 12 to 8 shift. i cut a head for all the outdates i would of had this morning. fp select ribeyes did ok, but the choice strips that were added out did better( put the same sale price as the ribeyes ).
hahaha hell of a day have shortloins on sale and 1.99 ground beef had my closer call out so me and my cutter did 8000 in fresh meat and 4000 in case meat and a 1000 in seafood but we got through it i guess lol
