we got cameras all over the store with signs warning shoplifters. I don't think anyone would dare. I used to have people stuff tenderloins down their pants. at giant we had a security guy who blended in with the shoppers sometimes he had to fight them to stop them..sometimes he lost that fight I had seen him with scratches all over his face when someone wouldn't stop. I guess it was a lady with long finger nails. If i see something susupicious I alert the guy watching the cameras I am forbidden to get involved for legal reasons. and how we handle them when they are caught. prosecute them to fullest extinct the law allows.

i remember back when i worked for the iga, we had a guy that we knew who was stealing bags of shrimp. supposedly he used to frequent a bar that one of my meat room coworkers also did. somehow he slipped in the bathroom at the bar and cracked his head open. we never saw him in the store again. just sayin.
