those are some pretty big dogs there .. must be greyhounds, no hair on them. nice big full service case there and you even got a self serve case to go with it. very full looking cooler. orderly too. i like it.

Great case masteryeti ! I never get tried of looking at a beautiful meat counter. Thanks for the pictures. I like the dogs as every one calls them eyepopping.gif when I was north side Atlanta in the old days I cut 10 to 15 a week there. large jewish area but many americas bought it to. americas have gotten away from it here in the south. yet they have one of the largest lamb processing plants in the south east in north ga. most of which is shipped to south fla.

Thanks guys!!! All those greyhounds hanging came in 2nd at the track! We usually cut 2-3 a week sometimes up to 5. 10-15 during holidays. It's a tight squeeze of a cooler but I make the most of it. Not many places break full lamb anymore...heck not many places cut meat anymore...

at giant our cooler was 40 x 40 feet..not kidding...we could fit 20 skids in there but when tey started downsizing that meant downsizing products too half the room the was empty but they still had to pay electric to cool all of it. you could probably fit 12 cars in it easy

Am I the only one who's never heard of whole lamb being referred to as "dogs"? Anyway... we broke those down at my old shop in Hingham - but only maybe 10-20 times a year at best ... was good practice though and a great learning experience. Had a few hooks in the ceiling for them - the heavy ones were a bitch to get up there sometimes!

Great looking meat case! I love your full service counter! Those were some really nice lambs hanging, I used to raise those baa baas and those are some fine grown ones!
