my boss asked me what I did to drive him away so fast....all I said was I must have rattled him...I got on the saw on friday and he didn't know what to do...he was so flustered...I burried him in steaks...I told him "its the holidays better move it!"
At the time this one left I was in my ******* role, told him, I'll teach you till you show me you not interested, then you out the door. also, if you can't move you need to go home, so I guess he deceived to go home
i had a couple guys who didnt quit but i fired in the first couple days they just wouldnt of fitted in.......they had that corporate store mentality.........like take my lunch at this time ..........i dont work like that ill take a break when i have acomplished something.........these guys would start at 8 and coffe by 9..lol
Guys who work for a short time then live the job i have always asked my self why? and at times talked to them,at a times these guys fear of there job security,at a times during interview there are not told their right rolls to play at the work place,at times what the expected is not what they got,and above all these guys are always very lazy to work with.
Had a guy start at 6 am. We did the grinds. He did not dress for the cold and his teeth were chattering I offered him one of my flannel shirts and he refused. I made him put another meat coat on We wrapped the Grinds, finished filling and went for our first break at 8:30 He excused himself to get a pack of smokes and never came back

I had a wrapper that was a beauty queen, yes an actual beauty queen She started at 7am and made it to 11am She came up to me and said I can't take the cold so I am leaving, pay me if you want, I don't care

had someone start at 6am and we went on break at 9am after breaking down 10 cattle and unloading another beef truck and then never came back from break so i had to finish cutting 10 cattle by myself fun stuff
