RE: FOR MARKET MANAGERS

i am not really the "Market manager" but I am the sole meat cutter. and I maintain the lunch meat case as well. occassionally one the girls helps out in the meat dept with lunch meat and things like that even though she is really a deli girl. a few weeks ago i got on her because she prices all the lunch meat so sloppy with the price tag upside down or side ways or where you can't even see it. i hate sloppiness and i want the customers to see the prices easily. so i kind of gave her an ear full.....yesterday she did lunch meat again and she it did a good job. i told her today she did a really nice job with the lunch meat y esterday.

I told my lazy cutter as I was leaving that he better get the lead out of his ass by tomorrow or he'll be unemployed

Joe, I love your Motivation Skills, i see you use the Intrinsic motvatation style.   Intrinsic sources include physical, mental, and spiritual. LOL

I been know to take one outside the store for a smoke and leaving him with this thought, you have reach your last free shot, either do your job or i'll kick your ass and you can find another job. never had but one that didn't come back in with me.

some respond to kindness. Some respond to rewards. Some respond to size 12 up their backside
A good Market Manager knows which one gets the desired results
