Daddy here wants this one lol, I have always called myself a Market manager.
if you are a manager of meat, a meat manager, then you manage " Meat " which is in your cooler & your meat case.
if you are a manager of a market , a market manager, then you manage the "Market".
in my mind if you are a meat manager then you can only manage " Meat " but if you are a market manager then you manage the market which consist of, Meat, Meat Cutters, Meat Wrappers, Meat case, Meat Orders and all things related to a market.
AN I KNOW WHAT YOU THINKING,

I agree with Leon but with one addition....the buck also stops with me with the Seafood Department. Even though I have a seafood manager he works for me So I am the Market Manager that manages meat, meat cutters, meat clerks, seafood managers, seafood clerks and anything else that happens into the back 150 feet of the store.
And Leon.....I insist all my employees call me Mr. *******

Big Beef those names with a lot of ********** was always reserve for my 4 ex's
In my last market I had a hispanic cutter that started calling me " poppy " Eric one of my cutters that took over that market after I left got on that boat and after a month or so had every one there calling me " poppy " except my lady store manager, she always called me old bastard ( she was like a ex wife lol ) unless we were out of the floor, then she would use the " poppy " name. Most all my manager years I was called Cowboy
I knew my niece's mother-in-law was a manager for WalMart, but I was surprised to learn she was a market manager. I was planning on talking shop with her the next time I saw her until I learn that a "market" is a cluster of stores in a division of a region. So a market manager to WalMart is an area manager.
Market Manager here, I use to hate hearing this on the meat case, Hey butcher !
i always get that crap can i see the butcher blah blah...........i had some lady after i cut something for her shes like where did you train.......lol...i felt like a special ops guy...if i told her i would have to kill her......
