RE: Ham question

We were a little long ham and got prorated a few more. I guess the warehouse was a little long too.

I did have to tell a few hundred customers that we were out of live crawfish. Got in all we found get and sold all we got. I could have sold 150 more sacks of I could have gotten. That would have been nearly $9,000.00 more in sales.

spiral ham and butts and shank portions were gone this morning.still had the whole boneless left...noone asked for anything though...the store was painfully slow. it was one of the days where you just stand around for the last hour and half trying to look a little busy cuz the boss is probably watching you on the monitor.

Make diced ham, ham loaf, andouille or sandwich ham out of your surplus. You should never have to toss any ham product.

RE: Ham question

Didn't have too many left over this year. We always have to prebook them a couple months ahead so its a guessing game with them. Spirals went pretty good as well as boneless. Sliced and tied a few boneless hams and vac packed them up. sold them as well.
