wowsers! It`d be intersting not so much educational but interesting to work there lol...Mind you where I work theres several co-workers from the phillipines* and they`ve told me when you got to market and get beef (an expensive and rare treat) you get cubed beef...No cuts involved just straight up cubed beef n thats it thats all...I couldn`t tell you what area/region this was because like anything I'm more then sure it's different in other areas but where they were from it was cubed beef...No roasts..steaks nope just basically stew meat lol..
that is a nice ideal lol Customer see what they getting before they get in the store.
Lena, i have seen a few video's of phillipines, they have their meat out on tables in the open, I think I have seen roast on those tables, if you can call them that, I will check that and try to get one on here.
lol yeah like i said when they went to *market* for me this invokes a bizarre open market like atmosphere and I'm tryin to recall what area these particular 2 are from...We have 14 co-workers from the phillipenes between the plant and the in town store...It's an interesting place to work with so many diverse people..From Bosnia...Sweden...Germany..India (2 of our old CFIA inspectors) and the Phillipenes a simple conversation often becomes very confusing/comical and interesting all at the same time..
We sold off tables at the St Lawrence farmers market about 20 years ago. We have the same kind of store in our greek section of Toronto, Ontario. Canada
I had a guy buy a goat kid off me to butcher, live weight was 55lbs....and when we butchered it, he wanted it scalded like a pig...so I told him I would make it easier ( I thought) by shaving the goat with the surgical blade of my animal clippers....It did make it easer to scrape it with the bell scrapers.... but For the life of me I still don't know why we did it that way....he was also Phillipino. I just like the crowd in that shop, but personally, WHERES the sanitary practice's? Sorry, I must have worked in federally inspected places too much, as that just made me start counting NO NO's......
