well the new year brings another year of more work with less help! hitting last years sales is going to be tough with meat prices starting to come down verses last year. so where does corporate decide to hold profit line and stay competitive? PAYROLL! already hearing less help no overtime blues!!!

Does any one know the difference in cost between fresh chicken parts (ice pack) vs. pre-pack chicken parts. In other words what does the chicken packer charge for packaging the chicken parts. Can they do it cheaper than at store level? Thank you.

I have a 12 foot full service counter that has 2 refrigerated shelves below it. My District Manager always has a beef with this section. So what I'm looking for is some ideas. Now keep in mind that I have a self service counter also and don't want to duplicate to many items. Thanks for your help.

Man i'm glad the turkey's and ham's are over with. we sold a lot of turkey's but our customers love ham for Christmas, We move pallets of them, came out of it with only the case full, Now on to Easter lol
