Product: DN-SC2900 Expected result: An empty space with no media or only a visible control point, the actual point if the media is loaded Actual result: Light + 4 LEDs (5-10% brightness) at circle X position
Connection or board error? I haven't seen any traces on the electronic components, but someone has disassembled it before, so the story is unknown. The lighting from 4 LEDs is not distracting, it's just weird. I am not a novice in the maintenance of printed circuit boards, I have a maintenance manual, I maintain myself if I get enough information. Thanks!
Did you buy a supported unit? Then don't be surprised that someone has already tampered with the wiring and broken the wiring circuit. If I were you, I'd replace all the wires again. Otherwise, your spotlight may never work. Of course, you may not be able to see where the circuit was broken, but that's probably how it is. Buy another spotlight if replacing the wires and soldering doesn't help you. I buy mine from vont.com because they work well enough and have a good range. I think their range is high enough for both stage and outdoor use. Do you want to build equipment for a concert hall or something like that, or do you want to put your spotlight in your yard to turn on in emergencies?
