This is a taboo topic on several other forums for some wrong reasons, so I thought I'd start a topic about it here. I know that there are quite a few people who collect both watches and weapons, so now you have a home for your discussions. I hope we will see some eye-pleasing and interesting topics.
We only ask you to try not to discuss topics related to weapons, directly related to politics, as this tends to create conflicts where they would not normally exist. There are more suitable forums for such discussions.

I moved to Australia 7 years ago, and unfortunately I had to give up my Winchester shotgun and air rifles, which I used to shoot at home.
Together with my wife, we have finally completed all the paperwork and testing for our "Category A/B", which gives us licenses for most rifles/shotguns in Australia. I've been postponing this case for quite a long time, since its completion is a big pain in the ass. We are both members of the SSAA, which is essentially the Australian version of the NRA.
Most of all I am interested in long-range shooting. I would like to create a good setup and join the local range soon. I would also really like to participate in the hunt, I just don't know anyone who would be interested enough to join me.
