With my out going personally it would be no problem lol man at the women you could talk to. That is a fine looking case, you can tell they take good care of it. wonder how much they make a hour.
wow !!! what a display case . I love to work with guest to show-off my talent and let them know how to cook cuts of meat , tell them about the many ways to cook the cuts and how to serve them . being involved with the wants and needs of the customers and guide them of the event that they want to make so special . as good merchandisers , that is what we do .
How come we don't see meat markets at the mall? How hard would it be to package a few steaks in a small Styrofoam case with dry ice so the customer can carry it around and continue shopping the mall?
That's very similar to were I work but our case is about 5 times larger than what is shown in that picture. Also, the one in the picture looks a lot better.
However, we're further back than these guys are. It's an open shop, but we're at tables about 8-10 feet back. There's no nearby wall like in that pic. I wouldn't mind cutting that close. I bet it's hard to keep the top of the glass looking clean.
We don't have matching shirts and ties. We may wear any color of tie and shirt as long as the shirt has buttons and collar.
It's interesting how their aprons have just one shoulder strap and some have it on the left and some on the right.
I think they should be wearing gloves. Those blocks are pretty small. I bet a lot of real cutting is done behind that wall.
Those guys look too clean. What's up with that? Everyone put on a new apron for the picture?

For me it just would depend on the neighborhood. At couple of the stores I worked in we had to keep our knives under the cutting table when not actually using them so the customers could not reach them. At one of these we had a customer grab a steak knife and use it on another customer.
