Two staff members at the University of Louisville (Ky.) have launched an online market for students and the community to buy fresh pasture-raised lamb, chicken, eggs and pork during the winter, according to the Louisville Cardinal student newspaper.
Orders are placed using an online form and delivered to campus once a month. The online market will operate until the local farmers market reopens in late May, but customers will be allowed to place pre-orders for next winter, according to the article.
