There’s no “banger” for your buck with this sausage.
A British butcher claims to have concocted the world’s most expensive sausage — costing $57 a link.
Kevin Turner created the pricey pork specialty at this week’s British Sausage Week.
To create the fancy meat links, he uses a combination of Mangalitsa pork that is the same quality the Queen of England receives, $107 truffles, $385 Stilton cheese and a 1947 vintage port that goes for $693 a bottle, according to The Sun.
Turney said his “posh banger” is 100 times more expensive than the average sausage and is made for “those sausage connoisseurs with a more discerning taste.”
