Anyone ever have to use this finger cutter???Back in the late 60's early 70's I seen a lot of men lose a finger because of this chicken cutting machine
Yes. Haven't seen one in years but I used to cut plenty of birds on that thing. Always felt it was safe. Only thing I hated was the chicken cooler was about 28 degrees and my hands would be practically frozen after awhile.
Never ever saw one! When I was an apprentice used to have to cut up 40 cases of ice-packed chickens per day, but it was always knife cut with about half quartered on the saw. At least when you did get cut your hands were so frozen they were numb!
