 There's something were not being told there. Something sneaky. John Mackey probably made a lot of money in previous years, or there's money coming to him in a different way. Maybe his wife gets two million a year for being a secretary. I trust the above information, but I'm sure there's something else.

I have not been in the trade for 20 years so I can't speak to how it compares. I can only say good for them.  It's a hell of a lot less than what the top execs in my current industry (telecommunications) make.  My main statement is that if you want those earnings, move into the executive ranks. More power to them!
