old hand slicer

slicer.jpgFound this little gem while going through a flea market in Kentucky. Never seen one of these before. Its a hand crank lunchmeat slicer. Not sure how old. Looked in good condition though. Didn't have a price on it and nobody around to ask so I left it. Anyone else see one of these before?

Hey Squirrel, looks like it might be a old Rival manual slicer.

If you ever out there and run across one like this

that could come in handy. Did you try it out Irish Squirrel? If so did it operate smoothly?

I looked at it and cranked it and the blade ran smooth. I might go back to see if its still there.
