Knowing how busy you are its really nice that you take the time to put these video together for us. I actually tried to do a butcher knot demo video about 3 years ago but decided not to post it because I couldn't get the camera to stay at an angle to show them clearly what I was doing. Yours is a lot better. A lot of cutters still don't know how to do it properly so they should appreciate this.

I was taught how to do my quick knot by a left-handed man missing three fingers.

I am right-handed.

Well done Dan. Lawdy the number of knots we have to tie! Tied so many for so long that I had a cyst growth about the size of a thimble on the middle finbger of my left hand. Still have a few "twine knives" in a drawer. There's always an extra marketing incentive in using hand tied knots over twine.

Very nice. I tie the same way. Just tied 3 cases of sirloin tip roast today. Taped my fingers this time.
