Thanks for posting. I have been trying to persuade store owners to get better lighting for our fresh meat case for years and I sent them this link and link to Promolux website and they are finally going to do it! woo hoo! Hopefully no more 2 day shelf life! Maybe I'll have some time to do some extra merchandising now that I'm not reworking the whole counter every 2 days lol! Can't wait!

how much per bulb??


led is also getting popular in meatcases

I help set up a new case a couple weeks ago with led lighting
it looked great!!

Well they're not cheap from what I understand (about $25 pr 4ft bulb) but I guess my employer ordered them today. I hope the heck they're worth it or my name is mud for talking them into it!! We just have regular junk fluorescents in there now. It's murder. Even when I cut the whole case fresh it's blaaah. What a shame it's been. Hard to take pride in your work when those lights just make it look like crap!
