maybe you will share picks of the butchering process? I have always been curious about turtle meat. My dad would tell stories about how he ate them in Alabama.
The meat is in the front and back legs, the neck, the tail, and there is a type of tenderloin in the shell. Right now the turtles are still alive in a tank that the water gets changed frequently in for about a week or two until water becomes clear for more than two days. Once I butcher them we'll see about those eggs.

Where's the majority of the meat on a snapping turtle? Were there any eggs in it like I saw on Survivorman TV show?
Am planning on sharing photos and possibly a video or two once I butcher. It'll probably be next weekend when they will be ready to butcher, right now they are dirtying up the water pretty good.
